Client Betterment Committee
In 2017, the Client Betterment Committee was started at HPS. It is made up of four dedicated HPS clients who meet monthly. They developed the following mandate:
The Client Betterment Committee’s purpose is to work together with HPS towards enhancing the client experience. The Committee is a dedicated group who bring a unique perspective as HPS clients to assist HPS management and staff to improve the program. The Client Betterment Committee serves both an advisory role and an advocacy role by making recommendations and seeking preferred outcomes within the HPS community.
Specific areas of involvement include:
- Policy development
- Design of healthcare space
- Provide feedback on initiatives
- Share insights from client perspective on delivery of programs
- Assist with short term projects ex. Development of strategic plans
